GCUMC Preschool
Located in the heart of Greensboro, NC, GCUMC Preschool offers a developmental curriculum which presents both structured and non-structured activities, affording the children a wide variety of hands-on learning opportunities and play throughout the day.
We believe in the “Whole Child” approach to learning that focuses on meeting a child’s individual needs as well as supporting their development spiritually, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Class Offerings and Tuition Costs
At GCUMC Preschool, we offer classes for children who have turned 18 months old by the end of August through children who will be turning 5 years old during the school year. Monthly tuition is based on the number of days a child attends. The school day operates from 8:30am-12:30pm. The Extended Care program (optional) runs from 12:30pm-2:30pm and is offered to children enrolled in the 3 and 4 year old classes. We offer the following classes:
Younger Twos: Ages 18 months-28 months (must be 18 months by August 31)
Older Twos: Ages 29 months—35 months (must be 29 months by August 31)
Threes: Must be potty-trained and 3 by August 31
Fours: Must be potty-trained and 4 by August 31
2025-2026 School Year Tuition:
2 days/month (Tu/Thu) = $245/month
3 days/month (M/W/F) = $295/month
5 days/month (M-F) = $395/month
Registration Fees:
Returning students or GCUMC members: $85/student; $45 sibling discount
New students: $100/student; $60 sibling discount
All students enrolled in the 3’s or 4’s classes must be potty-trained before beginning.

A typical day in the life of our preschool will usually include the following activities:

Children enjoy learning in all types of play with many hands-on experiences. We have many opportunities in which we invite others to share a skill or teach us new things, such as a fireman and fire truck visit, dental hygiene instruction, learning about instruments and more. We love watching children explore the world around them.
